Deck Refinishing FAQs
Stain or paint — which should I choose?
Stain lets the wood grain show through and is easier to refresh later. Paint covers the grain entirely and gives a uniform color but requires more prep when it eventually peels.
How long does a deck refinish take?
Most decks take two to four working days depending on size, condition, and the finish selected. Weather and drying times affect the schedule.
Do I need to replace any boards first?
We check for soft, split, or rotting boards during prep and let you know if anything should be swapped before finishing. Small board and fastener repairs can be handled during the same visit.
What area do you serve?
We refinish decks for homeowners across Ohio.
